Cable Box Troubleshooting
FPB cable customers, does your DTA or advanced set-top converter ever act strange? If so, please unplug the device from the power source. This can be accomplished by removing the plug from the wall outlet, or you can unplug the power cable which connects directly to the device. While you are doing this, also check to make sure the cable connection is secure.
Once unplugged, wait at least 30 seconds then reconnect power. This will recycle the unit, and many times, clear up your issue. If the unit continues to exhibit non-normal behavior, then please call 352-4372 so a technician can be assigned to investigate further.
Advanced set-top units will lose their program guide information after performing this process, so please be aware. The unit will begin downloading program guide information once power is restored but it will take several minutes before the complete guide is restored.
